The President's Volunteer Service Award: Recognizing and honoring volunteers sets a standard for service to others. It encourages a sustained commitment to civic participation and inspires

others to make volunteering a central part of their lives. The President's Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals, families, and groups that have achieved a certain standard –

measured by the number of hours served over a 12-month period or cumulative hours earned over the course of a lifetime.

Summer 2008 Boys & Girls State Information:

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, RTG & Associates, Inc, and College Options Foundation welcomes the opportunity to provide every Boys State and Girls State 'Citizen' the opportunity to earn four elective college Freshman-level credits for their participation in Boys and Girls State this coming Summer (2008). We are excited to offer this opportunity and offer information and instructions about how to earn these credits at this page.
