Sergeant Louis R. Reyes Memorial 3-P Junior Open Air Rifle Postal Match 2008/09

The Warrior Cadets extend a special thanks to the Friends of the NRA for their support. Through the Friends of the NRA grant program, we were able to update our marksmanship equipment to support the growing interest in shooting sports and our program.

Memorial Dedication

Sergeant Louis R. Reyes (14 Aug 1979 thru 18 Nov 2005) served in the Montbello Warrior JROTC program for four years.  While in JROTC, he participated in the Marksmanship program and loved to compete.  He joined the Colorado National Guard upon graduation in 1997.  Assigned to the Army National Guard\'s 947th Engineer Company, Durango, Colorado, his unit was ordered to mobilize and deploy in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.  While deployed, Sergeant Louis R. Reyes died en route to Ali Al Salem, Kuwait, when the bus in which he was riding rolled over on November 18, 2005.  SGT Reyes died at the age of 26.  This postal match is dedicated in his memory and service to our country.

forget their sacrifice."
